Sock Cupcake

Today I am doing my sock cupcakes. These are just too cute. I tell you the person who came up with this idea ROCKS!! I am so amazed at all this person does. She is so creative. I used a pom pom for my cherry on top, rolled the sock up, put a rubber band on the bottom of it to keep it all together. I cut out a cupcake holder for my cricut expression 2 using the Cindy Loo cartridge. Placed the rolled up sock in the cupcake holder, than put the cupcake holder in a gift party bag and tied it up. Will add a ribbon to it and it is ready to go. You can add a tag saying thank you or happy birthday either way works.

Another Craft day!

So today I decided to work on one basket at a time. Well that didn't really happen cause I went from one project to the next again. I am posting my puff trees now. They are puff wash sponges. I made sure to put the stick through the middle of the puff so it was easy enough to take the puff off to use. I also attached a butterfly. I got the idea from another web site. Can not remember who's. I find these idea's and than save them in my head. I know I really need to remember who I get them from so I can give them credit. I just get so amazed by all the creations that everyone comes up with. I wish I was as creative as the others out there in the blog world.

Cricut cartridge Flower Shoppe

I bought a new cartridge called Flower Shoppe. It is actually a really cool cartridge. I am sure I will get my money out of it especially with Christmas coming up. So today I worked on two things. One I worked on trying to figure out how to use this cartridge and since I could not figure it out myself I had to go to You Tube. You tube has everything on it. So with the help of two videos I got it figured out. Ofcourse the two videos could have let me know that when I size the middle part of the flower at 4 inches, that you do not size the outer flower petals at that size either. It just does not work. Take my word for it. You have to size it down. With this cartridge you will be doing lots of trial and error. I ended up just using the inner part of the flowers for my wreath. I didn't make the leaves on the wreath, I just really didn't like the green paper I had so I used pre made leaves. Next time I will make my leaves also so that you all can see how cool and easy it really is.

Second I started to paint my scrapbook room. Yes I strated it and than had to give up because it was more than my arms would allow me to handle and now my hubby is mad at me cause now he is going to have to do it. So right now he is not too happy with me. Oh darn. So take a look at the color behind the wreath. That is the color of my room. I am loving it. It is suppose to be Koi but it doesn't look too much like the color I chose but all the same I am really liking it. Gone white boring wall hello bright Koi wall. So excited. Yeah.

New Start!!

Okay I am truly, really going to start blogging every week. My goal is to blog at least once a week. I was going to do photos remember but well that didn't happen so now I will just try to blog how about that? I have been working on some wonderful crafts the past three days. Excited to share them with you. I need to remember where I found these wonderful great ideas so I can give credit where credit is due.

In September I volunteer for a Mini Donkey Show and this year I am making up the baskets for a give away. My first project I did for one basket is mini note cards and envelopes, plus the little box that they fit into. I made two sets. One with the donkey stamp and the other with a flower stamp. I had to adjust the measurments from the site I found them at because I wanted to add envelopes to the set which the original set did not come with envelopes. So to me this was a good add.
